Biographical Info

Bill has been involved in track and cross country officiating since the early 1970s and served as the head coach at Shikellamy HS in Sunbury through 1975. While in District IV, he served as a starter for cross-country and track meets, including the District IV cross country championships for much of the 70s. He later served as Meet Referee for the District IV Track Championships until moving to this area in 1993. Bill still starts HS meets and has officiated every field event at various invitational meets on the high school and college level, including working at the PA state meet since 1979, where he has been head judge of the long jump and triple jump events. He has served as Meet Referee for several college meets, including the MAC and Landmark Championships, as well as the PIAA District III Championship.
